SAE-Aero Design Competition

in 2018, a bunch of my friends and I had the idea to start our very own Aeronautics club for our university. That's when we came across the annual Design competition held by SAE-Aero South India division. The Goal of the competition was to design a UAV from scratch, capable off lifting maximum amount of payload under constraints set by the competition organisers. Serving as the Vice-captain for the team for her maiden year, I was responsible for designing the wings of the UAV, handling the electronics & also took care of logistics and finances for the team.

We soon realised that for the engineers to do their jobs effectively without bureaucratic hinderances, we needed a team to handle the said difficulties And hence in the second year of the club, I formed the SAE-Aero corporate division. where we handled things like taking care of logistics, obtaining financial aid from our university, importing of parts, obtaining sponsors (we were successfully able to get Sponsorship from a local Aero designing workshop and also ONGC india Pvt. Ltd.).
